Typical dermoscopic patterns of benign melanocytic nevi

Reviewed here are the dermoscopic features and patterns of congenital and a cquired benign melanocytic nevi in parallel with their clinical features. T he objective is to present general guidelines to distinguish these benign p igmented lesions from each other and from melanoma and to describe dermosco pic features and classic patterns associated with various types of benign m elanocytic nevi.
