Abstract
A new trinortriterpene. meliacinolactol (1), and two new tetranortriterpene s. limocin C (2) and limocin D (3), along with a known constituent, azadira dionolide. were isolated from the fresh fruit coats of Azadirachta indica a nd were characterized by chemical transformation and spectroscopic experime nts. including 2D-NMR techniques.
