The propagation characteristics of the longitudinal leaky surface wave prop
agating on a La3Ga5SiO14 retically investigated for all cuts and propagatio
n directions. The results of temperature coefficient of delay (TCD), electr
omechanical coupling constant (K-2) and phase velocity were displayed on co
ntour maps. Cuts with zero TCD were obtained at Euler's angle's of (20 degr
ees, theta, psi) and (30 degrees, theta, psi). Temperature dependence of fr
actional time delay (Delta tau/tau) on (90 degrees, 90 degrees, 0 degrees)-
cut changes only by 18.5 ppm from -30 degreesC to 110 degreesC. This cut ha
s very good temperature characteristics.
