The paper considers the Ag particles activation and inhibition effects
of autocatalytic Ag+ reduction that result from the electric interact
ion between diversely modified particles, which differ in the potentia
l and catalytic activity. We have found that the activity of more acti
ve Hal- modified Ag particles increases additionally at a condition of
their electric interaction with less active nonmodified particles, wh
ile the activity of nonmodified particles decreases, due to the electr
ic contact with the modified particles.
