Abstract
The inhibitors of phosphoprotein phosphatases, vanadate (100 muM) and fluoride (5 mM) modulate potassium influx and efflux in glioma C6 cell s under isotonic and hypotonic conditions. It is suggested that proces ses of phosphorylation-dephosphorylation are involved in volume regula tion of K+ transport.
