Abstract
The effects of atmospheric aerosols on radiative transfer in infrared windo w channels were analyzed. For the land surface temperature retrieval at inf rared window channels, the effects of the uncertainties in atmospheric aero sol and the effects of the deviations in atmospheric temperature, moisture and aerosol on the retrieval accuracy were investigated.
