Abstract
We have succeeded in observing the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations i n the filled skutterudite PrFe4P12. The results predict a large difference in topology of the Fermi surface compared to the reference compound LaFe4P1 2. The cyclotron effective mass is found to be extraordinarily enhanced wit h the maximum value of 67m(0). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights re served.
