Abstract
Magnetic- and specific-heat measurements are reported on the (U1-xThx)(2)Pt -2 In solid solutions for 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 0 .10 where the U atoms are randomly replaced by Th. The observed enhanced Pa uli paramagnetism and the non-Fermi-liquid behaviour for T > 1.7 K in the s ubstituted samples up to 10% Th showed that the magnetic behaviour is uncha nged in all this composition range.
