Abstract
We present a mean-field analysis of the competition between magnetic order and Kondo effect in a Kondo-lattice model usually employed to discuss prope rties of certain cerium compounds. A phase diagram is obtained showing an a ntiferromagnetic phase and a Kondo-compensated regime. in agreement with th e Doniach diagram.
