We present a theoretical explanation of recent neutron-diffraction experime
nts reporting the possible occurrence of Kondo-like effect and anomalous ma
gnetic ordering of cerium in the double-exchange ferromagnet (Pr0.1Ce0.4Sr0
.5)MnO3. The magnetic behavior of this compound is quantitatively reproduce
d by a model of two interacting sublattices representing the Mn-sites and t
he Ce-sites. The minimum of the magnetization at low temperatures is due to
a ferrimagnetic situation which is sensitively determined by spin-polarize
