Abstract
A study of the pressure response of single-crystalline Fe1-xSi1+x samples r evealed a pressure-driven reduction of the band gap E-g at high temperature s. Pressure also significantly changes the variable range hopping regime by lowering the electronic density of states at the Fermi energy. (C) 2001 El sevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
