Abstract
The La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (LSMO) film is deposited successfully onto a MgO(001) su bstrate by using a magnetron DC sputtering system. The theta -20 X-ray diff raction pattern is detected to investigate the structure of the deposited L SMO film. According to the experimental temperature dependent magnetization result, the Curie temperature of the sample is 364.8K. The magnetic hyster esis curve with a coercivity of 17 Oe was found for the LSMO film at 300K, meanwhile, a significant magneto resistance was observed. With these proper ties at room temperature, the LSMO-based devices might be very suitable for practical applications. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
