Abstract
Exchange stiffness constants (A) are determined for a CoCr(Ta, Pt)-alloy sy stem by measuring the temperature variations of saturation magnetization of single-crystal specimens. The A value decreases with increasing Cr concent ration. Co-Cr-Pt alloy has a higher A value than that of Co-Cr-Ta alloy wit h similar Cr concentration. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
