Abstract
We point out a basic flaw made by M. A. Noor (1998, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 22
8, 206-220), construct a new iterative algorithm for a class of variational
inclusions involving non-monotone set-valued mappings with noncompact valu
es, and study the convergence of the perturbed Ishikawa iterative process f
or solving a class of the generalized single-valued variational inclusions.
