H. Vilchik et R. Berkovits, Plastic flow of persistent currents in strongly interacting systems: manifestations of the few-channel characteristics, J PHYS-COND, 13(30), 2001, pp. 6499-6508
The persistent-current characteristics of two-dimensional strongly interact
ing systems are investigated. The response to an external magnetic field, t
he sensitivity to addition of a single scatterer and the noise autocorrelat
ion in the strongly interacting regime are different to those in the non-in
teracting diffusive regime. The response in the strongly interacting regime
is consistent with a persistent current carried by a series of one-dimensi
onal channels.
