Abstract
An oligothropic non-union of the femur in a four year old Leonberger dog wa s stabilised using the bioartificial bone graft beta -Tricalciumphosphate a s osteoconductive agent and interlocking nailing. Fracture union and comple te biodegradation of the bioartificial implant occurred leading to full cli nical recovery of the patient.
