Abstract
In this paper, we present a far-field pattern calculation technique in the body-of-revolution finite-difference time-domain (BOR-FDTD) method. Because the BOR-FDTD solves two- and half-dimensional problems, it has different f eatures from the three-dimensional FDTD method in the far-field pattern cal culation. A monopole antenna fed by a coax is used to validate the techniqu e described in this paper. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
