Abstract
Short oligonucleoside boranophosphates containing all four nucleosides were synthesized on solid support using base-unprotected nucleoside H-phosphona te monomers. This strategy avoided irreversible base modifications during t he boronation procedure. Structures of the boranophosphate oligomers were c onfirmed by H-1, P-31, B-10 NMR and MS analysis as well as by enzymatic hyd rolysis.
