Abstract
The authors report an 87% rate of return to preinjury levels of throwing in 54 baseball players and an 84% rate of return to preinjury performance lev els in pitches after repair of type II SLAP lesions. The etiology, biomecha nics, surgical repair, and rehabilitation are discussed in detail.
