T. Frederico et Hc. Pauli, Renormalization of an effective light-cone QCD-inspired theory for the pion and other mesons - art. no. 054007, PHYS REV D, 6405(5), 2001, pp. 4007
The renormalization of the effective QCD Hamiltonian theory for the quark-a
ntiquark channel is performed in terms of a renormalized or fixed-point Ham
iltonian that leads to subtracted dynamical equations. The fixed-point Hami
ltonian gives the renormalization conditions as well as the counterterms th
at render the theory finite. The approach is renormalization group invarian
t. The parameters of the renormalized effective QCD Hamiltonian come from t
he pion mass and radius for a given constituent quark mass. The Is and exci
ted 2s states of <(<mu>)over bar>q are calculated as a function of the mass
of the quark q being s, c, or b, and compared to the experimental values.
