Abstract
Heterocyclic derivatives of aminomethylphosphonic acid were obtained in a o ne-pot procedure, by treatment of the corresponding heterocyclic aldimines with a mixture of trimethyl phosphite and bromotrimethylsilane (BrTMS). A r eagent for phosphorylation of the imines in this case was the tris(trimethy lsilyl)phosphite, formed in Sial in a reaction mixture. The silylated ester s formed were hydrolyzed to the final aminophosphonic acids.
