Abstract
The procedure for the preparation of polymer samples which allows the appli cation of the Eyring-Lazurkin approach for the analysis of the structural a nd energy parameters of polymer solvent crazing was worked out. Changes in the activation energy of the process were shown to be responsible for the e ffect of surface-active liquid media on the mechanical response of polymer with the activation volume remaining almost unchanged.
