Abstract
Using Saba equation, a simple model is proposed for the dynamics of interac tion between ultrashort laser pulses and solid targets. An adiabatic expans ion model is adopted to study the expansion phase after the heating phase. Temporal evolvement of the dynamics of the interaction is obtained, from wh ich the electron temperature, density, ionization balances can be determine d.
