Abstract
Fuculose I-phosphate and fructose-diphosphate aldolases were employed in th e chemoenzymatic synthesis of the iminocyclitols 1 and 2 possessing a phosp honic acid moiety. These compounds are useful as core synthons for the deve lopment of specific glycosyltransferase inhibitors.
