Abstract
We report a case of epidural abscess and pyogenic cervical discitis, follow ing a stellate ganglion block performed for pain relief. The patient presen ted with quadriplegia 12 days following the stellate ganglion block. Magnet ic resonance imaging confirmed the diagnosis of an epidural abscess. The pa tient recovered full limb function after surgical drainage. This is the fir st report of cervical epidural abscess as a direct complication of this pro cedure.
