Iodobenzene and tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) [(C6H5)(3)P](4)Pd catalyse a new synthesis of 1,1-dialkylbuta-1,3-dienes, starting from 1,1-d iethoxybut-2-ene and trialkylboranes, in the presence of Schlosser's superb ase LIC-KOR.
