Abstract
4,4 ''-dialkyl alpha-terthiophenes have been conveniently synthetized. Substituted alpha-quinquethiophenes are easily obtained from specific ally dibrominated alpha-terthiophenes and are excellent models for ele ctrochemical polymerization studies.
