Abstract
Ring and side chain substituted 3-phosphonomethylcyclohexenones react with triazidochlorosilane (TACS) in acetonitrile or azidotrimethylsila ne (TMS-N-3)/iodine/pyridine mixture in dichloromethane to afford ring expanded tetrazolo and gamma-iodo-delta-ketoalk-2-enylphosphonate sys tems, respectively.
