Abstract
Thermal and electrical conductivity, thermal diffusivity of high density po lyethylene, polystyrene/graphite composites were investigated in this paper . Two different types of graphite (different distribution of the particle s ize, different specific surface) were used. For HDPE/graphite composites, a lso mechanical properties were investigated. Experimental data were compare d with some theoretical models. In a semicrystalline matrix (HDPE) differen t values for the percolation concentration for two types of graphite partic les of different surface area were observed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd.
