Abstract
We describe a new species of anole of the genus Norops from near Quebrada G rande, Departamento de Copan, in western Honduras. It is distinguished from all other Mexican and Central American species of the genus by having an o cellated shoulder spot. A suite of other characters is also provided that w ill distinguish the new species from all other species of Norops of norther n Central America.
