Abstract
A full parallax three-dimensional imaging method based on a point light sou rce array with a pixel cell plate is introduced. The pixel cell plate is an image display panel which is composed of pixels selected by the method fro m a two dimensional multiview image array to be displayed. The plate is pla ced in front of the light source array for the formation of the viewing zon e. The pixel cell plate can also work with two-dimensional pinhole or micro lens arrays to create three-dimensional images and thus provide full parall ax. The pixel cell plate is consisted of a two-dimensional array of pixel c ells which has the same number pixels as each image of a N x N multiview im age array.
