Abstract
The hysteresis phenomena and current-voltage, (I-V) characteristics of a se ries combination of two identical negative differential resistance (NDR) de vices are analyzed. In this study, two different cases are discussed. The. analysis shows that hysteresis phenomena in the combined I-V characteristic s depend upon the electrical parameters of the series-connected NDR devices . The relationships between the hysteresis voltage and electrical parameter s are studied. The effect of series resisitance on the combined I-V curve i s investigated. Experimental results are demonstrated to support the analys is and discussion.
