Abstract
We describe a simple method based on photoluminescence which allowed us to determine theabsorption spectra of InAs/InAlAs quantum dots at low temperat ures. The method is applicable to any luminescing layer structure, such as quantum dots, wires or wells, and only requires standard photoluminescence equipment.
