Abstract
Some aspects of the theory of the dynamics in liquids are reviewed and comp ared with results from computer simulations and experiments. The range of l iquids includes liquefied rare gases, binary mixtures, molten metals and mo lten alloys. A few of today's challenges regarding dynamics in liquids are listed.
