Abstract
The review article summarises the clinical signs and organic changes in tox icoses of horses caused by metallic and non-metallic elements (Pb, Se, Fe, Mo, I, Zn, Hg, S and F), pesticides (chlorinated hydrocarbons, insecticides , cholin-csterase inhibitors, metal-dehyde, phosphide) and anti-coagulant r odenticides. The most characteristic sources of different materials and the laboratory examinations useful from diagnostic point of view are also ment ioned in the article.
