Abstract
We describe a case of spinal epidural hematoma in a 58 year old patien t who suffered a myocardial infarction and was treated with recombinan t tissue plasminogen activator, Computed tomographic and magnetic reso nance imaging studies utilized, confirmed the presence of the hematoma , The main signs and symptoms in establishing the presumptive diagnosi s and the essential contribution of magnetic resonance in confirming t he diagnosis are mentioned. Finally, we review the bleeding complicati ons due to thrombolytic agents and therapeutic prospects and prognosis in this pathology.
