Abstract
A high performance wide range elliptically polarized undulator beamline is under commissioning at SRRC. The dragon-type design with two independent en trance slits has been employed to cover photon energies from 60 to 1400 eV. The energy resolution of the beamline has been measured using Ar, N-2, and Ne absorption spectra. The photon flux as a function of energy has been re corded by photodiode and gives an average of flux greater than 1 x 10(12) p hotons/s/ 200 mA with both slits set at 10 mum. Based on spin polarized pho toemission and magnetic circular dichroism results, the degree of polarizat ion calculated from the spin-polarized resolved spectrum is estimated to be better than 95% in the first harmonic undulator radiation.
