Abstract
For the development of new materials by SR technology, a new beamline was d esigned at the BL-7 of New SUBARU. This beamline consists of two branch lin es, which are provided with an incident beam from a 3 m undulator by switch ing the first mirror. One of them is a high photon-flux beamline with a mul tilayered-mirror monochromator for the study of SR-process (BL7A) and anoth er is a high-resolution beamline with a varied line spacing grating monochr omator for the evaluation of nano-structure characteristics by SR-spectrosc opy (BL7B). The useful range of emitted photons from 50 to 800 eV is covere d at both beamlines. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
