Abstract
A beamline covering photon energy of 10-300eV is now under construction in National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory. The monochromator, optimized for maximum flux and medium resolution, has two working modes. One is to vary the grating including angle during wavelength scanning by rotating a plane mirror in the monochromator. At this case, the entrance and exit slit are b oth fixed during the wavelength scanning. The other is to translate exit sl it while the grating including angle is fixed. The monochromator is provide d for angle-resolved spectroscopic and angle-integrated spectroscopic exper iments with medium resolving power (E/DeltaE > 1 0 0 0). (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
