Polymer-bound chiral electrophilic selenium reagents have been developed an
d applied to stereoselective selenenylation reactions of various alkenes. D
ifferent cleavage protocols allow further functionalization of the addition
products leading to improvements in selenium-based solid-phase chemistry.
