Ec. Schulte et al., Measurement of the high energy two-body deuteron photodisintegration differential cross section - art. no. 102302, PHYS REV L, 8710(10), 2001, pp. 2302
The first measurements of the d(gamma, p)n differential cross section at fo
rward angles and photon energies above 4 GeV were performed at the Thomas J
efferson National Accelerator Facility (JLab). The results indicate evidenc
e of an angular dependent scaling threshold. Results at theta (cm) = 37 deg
rees are consistent with the constituent counting rules for E-gamma greater
than or similar to 4 GeV, while those at 70 degrees are consistent with th
e constituent counting rules for E-gamma greater than or similar to 1.5 GeV
