Abstract
A correlation between temporal variation in the optical and mechanical prop erties of quenched NaCl : Eu single crystals and the sensitivity of these c rystals to a constant magnetic field was found. The results obtained make i t possible to assess the atomic structure of magnetosensitive point-defect complexes. (C) 2001 MAIK "Nauka/Interperiodica".
