Abstract
The catalytic asymmetric alkylation under phase-transfer conditions of vari ous substrates (enones, alpha -fluoro ketones, glycine-imines) promoted by chiral quaternary ammonium salts derived from cinchona alkaloids is describ ed. A solvent-free phase-transfer catalysis is presented as well as a new t ype of polymer-supported phase-transfer catalyst derived from cinchona alka loids.
