Abstract
Five glucuronides of 1-arylsulfonyl-5-fluorouracil were synthesized by the reaction of 1-arylsulfonyl-5-fluorouracil 2 with methyl 2,3,4-tri-O-acetyl- 1-bromo-1-deoxy-alpha -D-glucuronate I under phase transfer catalysis. Thei r structures were confirmed by IR, H-1 NMR and elementary analysis.
