Inspection assurance via petrinets

Within wide fields of software development and in the production control pe trinets became the standard device for modelling and simulation of distribu ted, parallel processes. In the quality management however petrinets were n ot used so far, although they can serve both for the modelling and simulati on of real processes and as a basis of a test and a documentation system, a s it is to be demonstrated in this essay. In the context of this essay a petrinet model is presented, which forms the basis for an economic inspection planning, a risk analysis and a process a nd product documentation. This model is continued to transfer in a software prototype for simulation.
