Abstract
Igneous and metasomatic mineral assemblages (including assemblages in low-sulfide mineralized beds with PGE) of the Ioko-Dovyrenskii Massif include chlorine-bearing minerals. For example, the phlogopite in low- sulfide reefs with PGE mineralization contains more chlorine (0.08-0.5 8%) than fluorine (0.00-0.25%). The occurrence of halogens in the flui d-bearing minerals indicates that the minerals crystallized in an envi ronment relatively rich in chlorine and poor in fluorine. The obtained data suggest that a chlorine-rich fluid notably affected the genesis of low-sulfide PGE mineralization of the Ioko-Dovyrenskii Massif.
