Abstract
Nonlinear inverse problems of atmospheric optics are considered. An or iginal justification for the recurrence relations used in the iterativ e scheme for solving these problems is given. The iteration process is modified and its convergence improved. The effectiveness of this modi fication is confirmed on an example.
