Abstract
Visual interpretation and computer classification of space images of t he Korean peninsula acquired by medium- (MSU-SK) and high-resolution ( MSU-E) scanning systems of the Resurs-01 satellite have been used to i dentify a number of space-monitoring problems which may be resolved us ing space images of this type.
