Abstract
The eight-membered ring in the title compound, C16H12Cl2N2S2, adopts a non-planar conformation as expected, and the least-squares planes of the 4-substituted aromatic ring form a dihedral angle of 83.3(2)degree s as a result of steric constraints. The molecular dimensions are of g eneral interest for comparison with structural data of analogous compo unds.
