Abstract
Low friction and high wear-resistance can be achieved in plastics comp onents by the use of suitable friction- and wear-reducing fillers. Pol yphenylene sulphone (PPSO2) appears to be a particularly effective fil ler for improving the friction and wear properties of polytetrafluoroe thylene (PTFE).
